From the construction of Brasilia until today, the Department of Mathematics at the University of Brasilia has been a centre of excellence in teaching, research and continuing education in Mathematics.  Today our activities include regular courses of study at the undergraduate and graduate level and active research programs in diverse areas of pure and applied mathematics.
